Many, many moons ago with a love of decor and an Interior Design diploma under her belt, Ingrid started out training under a top South African decorator. She then moved on to open her own business and had a small retail shop in Bedfordview, selling bespoke decor items. After opening her own curtain workroom, she moved the business home while she had her two daughters. Besides mothering and manufacturing, she spent all of the leftover waking hours transforming clients homes across Joburg.
In 2009 she realised a lack of suitable fabrics for kid's rooms and so landed the South African agency for a USA based fabric company and proceeded to develop Scarlett Fine and specialised for a time in kid's and baby's rooms fabrics, furniture and decoration.
With over 30 years of experience in the industry Ingrid is most passionate about helping clients and friends lift their homes: flipping, recycling (upcycling) and rearranging. She's happiest on dirty building sites or hoisting furniture around rooms, shopping for goodies and then placing them in expert positions, hammering in a few necessary nails and supervising her team of builders.
After spending 2 years in Melbourne, Australia, she's relocated back to beautiful Cape Town to start a new division of the business.

M E E T CANDICE RIBEIRO project manager
based in Johannesburg
Candice, fondly known to many as Candy, began her career as an air hostess before joining Ingrid at Scarlett Fine in Kramerville.
Their shared passion for beautiful spaces and creative design sparked a lasting connection.
After leaving to focus on her photography business and raise her family, Candice and Ingrid alwats remained in touch. As a qualified Interior Designer with a natural creative flair, Candice later stepped into the role of managing Houselift Johannesburg when Ingrid relocated to Australia.
Since then, she has helped countless clients transform their homes into spaces that are both beautiful and functional. Known for her warm, approachable nature and keen eye for design, Candice brings passion and dedication to every project she undertakes.
When she's not helping clients create their dream homes, Candice enjoys family life with her hubby and two kids, balancing business and homelife with skill.

based in Cape Winelands
After a dynamic career spanning international modelling, presenting, acting, fashion and décor styling, and entrepreneurship, Zoë is excited to embark on a new chapter as Project Manager for House Lift in the Cape Winelands.
Over the past decade, Zoë and her husband Greg, an international Landscape Architect, co-owned the popular Fourways Farmers Market, Waterfall Market, and Market on the Square in Sandton. Here, she curated the finest artisanal vendors, helped with the look and design of the markets, and managed all social media.
Zoë, Greg and their two adult children, Sam and Grace, recently relocated to the picturesque Franschhoek area, where she is embracing a new lifestyle while continuing to bring her creativity and expertise to exciting projects.
Combining strategic thinking with a passion for people, Zoë thrives on building meaningful connections, solving complex challenges, and turning ideas into successful and happy outcomes.
Zoë and Ingrid first connected on a Your Baby magazine shoot nearly two decades ago. After both semigrating to the Cape, a chance reconnection sparked the idea to collaborate, combining their complementary skills and experience to offer real life help to real people.
