PROJECT ONE

Guestloos are one of my favourite small spaces to have some extra fun decorating! Here we added this punchy dramatic leaf print wallpaper to really add some boldness to this originally bland space. A glass tray, vase, plant and lotions and potions added the final touches… and “voila”!

PROJECT TWO

A few years ago we gutted this entire bathroom (leaving only the vanity surrounds behind) We even replaced the rotten wooden window with an aluminium one! A sleek bath, toilet and functioning vanity drawers were installed followed by a lick of paint and then some final touches in the form of mirrors (with their very own built in shelves nogal!) dummy roman blinds and a wall plaque that just worked perfectly! Another happy client in a much better space.

PROJECT THREE

These clients hated their bathroom so much that they barely used it before team Houselift got stuck in. We stripped everything and started again; a free standing bath was installed, the shower ledge broken down for a walk-in shower with a simple glass panel. We used a decorative tile for a vertical accent but usedthe same floor tile for up the shower walls (and cut up the same tile into floor mosaics) We had a custom made floating vanity made – simple and functional. I sourced these industrial inspired mirrors for above the basins, used a large outdoor rug instead of a bathmat [the area was just too big for teeny mats] which linked up to the waterlily fabric which I used for some dummy roman blinds on the windows. My favourite piece had to be the bespoke washbox that I created; manufactured in a wipeable sheen vinyl and diamond buttoned for some extra glam. The inside laundry baskets are hidden from sight and easily removable while it doubles up as a seat! This was a major transformation and the beautiful end result means it now gets used! And nothing makes me happier…

PROJECT FOUR

A guestloo is a huge bonus to have in any home. These clients did an extension on their home to add one. They wanted something quirky, bright and bold and this wallpaper did the trick. We added a white vanity, large round mirror, a white pendant light fitting and a few accessories to finish off the look. My client was super chuffed with the outcome; a guestloo with a difference.

PROJECT FIVE

This client’s bathroom was in serious need of a total overhaul!! The dated tiles had already been painted a few years ago and were peeling. The layout of the room needed to change as they wanted a double vanity and to lose the bath. Their wishes were my commands and so we stripped it bare and started again. The end result is a stylish and more modern bathroom with on trend wall-hung toilet (with built in cistern) where the basin vanity used to be. A light walk in shower with a glass side panel (instead of the built up wall) and fabulous floor mosaics. lastly, a real sleek and practical double floating vanity was installed on the wall where the bath used to be.
