REAL HOME DESIGN FOR REAL PEOPLE

Everyone (and perhaps everything) needs a lift at some point, right?
Meeting a good friend for a quick pow wow and a cuppa can immediately lift your spirits or getting to spend time doing your favourite hobby will certainly lift your mood (mine includes sitting in front of an easel 😊)
But what about your home? Wouldn’t it be wonderful to spruce things up inside your house and give it a bit of a ‘facelift’ without having to break the bank? The number one reason most people never make any design or décor changes to their homes is because there is a misconception that it’s going to break the bank.
The truth is a design or simple décor change doesn’t have to cost you an arm and a leg.
My idea for HouseLift was born out of decades worth of individual consults. I’ve designed and decorated entire homes but also a single room in clients’ homes. I’ve remodelled kitchens and I’ve also helped a newly wed couple make the most out of their humble one bedroom apartment. I design and provide décor advice because I love it.
A house is a structure. Your home is a reflection of you, and you might not have all the money in the world right now to give everything in your house a lift, but let’s start with a chat and an idea of your budget and work from there.

how we work

Initial Consult
It all starts with a super-informal chat in the comfort of your home. We're more than happy to pop around for a cuppa, or set up a virtual meeting so we can work through the vision for your home improvement project, iron out any budget constraints, and plot out our next steps and appropriate timelines.

Ideas & Costings
We always start with presenting ideas and vision for your home improvement project aligned to a comprehensive costing. No surprises down the line. But sometimes it’s hard to imagine the end result, and if that’s the case we can always explore a more detailed floorplan, mood board or even a cool 3D digital rendering.
Moving Forward
Once you’ve committed to moving your home improvement project forward, my team will get the ball rolling. Sourcing, ordering, and coordinating can take a month or two (depending on the size and complexity of your project), but we will keep you in the loop all the way through. Our team of highly skilled installers will drop in as soon as we have ticked the last item off our inventory list and make sure that everything is beautifully positioned, hung and styled.
